Parents' panic over Legionnaires' outbreak

The NHS has tried to calm growing fears among parents over the latest outbreak of Legionnaire's disease.

NHS 24 Medical Director Professor George Crooks, has said: " Legionella is a bacteria that doesn't tend to affect children."


Suspected Legionnaires' death

A third person suspected of having Legionnaires disease has died. The Scottish Government said the man in his 60s, from south west Edinburgh, had been unwell for a while. His condition was linked to the original outbreak.
