GCSE exams 'to be scrapped' under major education shake-up

It's reported that the GCSE exam could be scrapped and replaced with the O-Level in the biggest shake-up of the exam system for 30 years. The Daily Mail reports that the Education Secretary is planning a major overhaul of the system which could also see the National Curriculum abolished.
