Three arrests after Italian football fans attacked in Bedford
Three people have been arrested after Italian football fans were attacked in Bedford last night.
Police were forced to close roads after disorder broke out following England’s defeat in the European Championship quarter-final match against Italy.
A group of England supporters headed towards a cavalcade of Italian supporters and caused damage to a number of vehicles. One person was assaulted, although not seriously.
