The Police Federation: 'A very sad say indeed'
The Chairman of The Police Federation has tweeted his "thoughts" for the man shot dead in Essex, thought to be an off-duty police officer. The tweets appear to support this as he refers to the man as "our colleague."
Our thoughts are with the family and friends of our colleague who has been killed in Essex. It's a very sad day indeed.
