MOD: 'Shower costs will be reimbursed'

Commenting on reports that military personal have had to pay to use showers a Ministry of Defence spokesman said:

“The claim that Olympics security personnel are being forced to pay for a shower is incorrect. The personnel affected by this were a small number of advance logistic enablers, whose job was to make the site fit for occupation by others by, for example, installing showers.

"Any costs incurred will be reimbursed in the usual fashion.”
