Lord Coe: Games sponsors 'must be protected'

Global brands are pouring million of pounds into the Olympics which means there are tight controls to protect the sponsors. Speaking to BBC Radio 4's Today programme, Chair of 2012, Lord Coe, said it was right to choose which names are allowed to appear inside the Olympic Park.

Olympic flame rides the Tube

The Olympic flame has taken the Tube as it continues its week-long journey through the capital. A total of 144 torchbearers, including rower James Cracknell and skier Chemmy Alcott, carried the flame 43 miles across London.
