British men's gymnasts qualify for Olympic finals for the first time in 88 years

Team GB's male artistic gymnasts qualified for their first Olympic men's team gymnastics final in 88 years.

The five gymnasts, Kristian Thomas, Daniel Purvis, Louis Smith, Max Whitlock and Sam Oldham finished third in the qualifying rounds behind the United States and Russia while beating reigning Olympic champions China.
