The funeral of PC Ian Dibell, who was shot dead while intervening in an incident while off-duty in Clacton, will take place today.
He was shot dead earlier this month when he intervened in a dispute between neighbours in the seaside town. The man accused of his murder was later found dead in a cemetery in Essex.
The private funeral of the neighbourhood officer will take place at Weeley Crematorium, near Clacton, Essex. Close police colleagues and friends will be able to attend.
