Large area of Oslo evacuated after suspicious package found
A large section of downtown Oslo has been cordoned off after police found a suspicious package under a car near the US embassy, Reuters reports.
Norweigan police also evacuated the underground rail station near the embassy.
The embassy is adjacent to the royal palace in central Oslo.
Police declined further comment and said it would issue a further statement.
