Andy Murray defeated Roger Federer in the men's finals in three straight sets. He defeated the Wimbledon champion 6-2, 6-1, 6-4.

Murray defeats Federer

Andy Murray defeated seven-time Wimbledon champion Rodger Federer to win gold in the final of the men's Olympic singles on Sunday. It was not the Scot's only medal on the day, as he teamed up with Laura Robson to claim silver in the mixed doubles.
