Boris: 'I think it inconceivable I'm going to be Prime Minister'

Mayor of London Boris Johnson has again denied that he would like to stand for Prime Minister. Asked on ITV's Daybreak, he said:

No of course not. I've got four years of Mayor of London. Perhaps this is the moment to knock this on the head, how can I issue a denial strong enough to stop this silly, silly, silly season story.

I think it inconceivable I'm going to be Prime Minister.

The Mayor was shown footage of him stuck last week on a 150ft high, 1,000ft long zip wire at the London Live event in Victoria Park, east London, when he was left hanging over a crowd of people for several minutes as the wire lost momentum. He joked:

There you have got it, how on earth could you elect that guy? How could anybody elect a prat who gets stuck in a zip wire?
