Egypt's President sacks North Sinai governor

President of Egypt, Mohamed Mursi, has sacked North Sinai's governor after an attack by Islamic minitants. A new intelligence chief has been put in place.


Fresh clashes in Egypt's Sinai

Egyptian police clashed with armed men in northern Sinai today, state television said. Egyptian forces killed 20 militants in the region bordering Israel on Wednesday, striking back after armed men attacked security checkpoints.
