'Olympic superfan' dies after suspected heart attack
The mother of an Olympics fan who died of a suspected heart attack while watching the cycling has said "there was never a day he was not excited about it".
Conrad Readman had earned the nickname "Olympic superfan" after getting tickets to every day of the Games.
Joan Readman told the Colchester Gazette: "He was coming home every night so excited and telling me about everything he had done".
Mr Readman was discovered ill in the velodrome's toilets on Friday and was taken to hospital where he later died.
