A break-away Paralympic flame has been lit to ensure tonight's Opening Ceremony can start on time after the torch relay fell two hours behind.
Slow progress overnight saw a "contingency" second flame ignited at City Hall and taken to the Olympic Stadium in case the time cannot be made up.
Organisers, though, hope the relay will still make the stadium on time.
