David Davis outlines alternative economic strategy

In the week when the Government is pushing its infrastructure plans, the former Conservative leadership candidate David Davis has said that "spending money [that we don't have] on infrastructure is not the answer."

Asked whether George Osborne is the right man for the job of Chancellor, Mr Davis responded:

"He is clever enough smart enough and brave enough to do what has to be done.

The Chancellor should use his power to do what needs to be done or we'll all [Lib Dems too] be out of a job in 4 years' [sic] time.
