Cyclist Victor Cabedo, who competed in the recent Tour of Britain, died after being hit by a car during training this afternoon in Onda, near Valencia, his Spanish team Eukaltel-Euskadi has confirmed.
Team spokesman Jesus Aizkorbe paid tribute to Cabedo as "a professional rider with a lot of promise who was killed by means that could have been avoided."
