The funeral of police officer Nicola Hughes - who was killed in a gun and grenade attack last month - will be held at Manchester Cathedral later today.
Hundreds of people are expected to line the streets of Manchester to pay their respects to the 23-year-old who died alongside her colleague PC Fiona Bone after they were called to investigate a burglary in Mottram.
The service will be at 1pm and it will be followed by a private funeral.
Dale Cregan, 29, has been charged with the two officers' murders.
