Police officers from across the country will line Manchester's main street today to pay their respects to 23-year-old Nicola Hughes.
The Police Federation have said members of the public are welcome to stand "shoulder-to-shoulder" with officers as they line the streets of Deansgate. The road will be closed until 3pm this afternoon.
Police officer Fiona Bone was kind and gentle but also a "brave rock of a woman", mourners at her funeral heard today.
Thousands of mourners lined the streets of Manchester as the public paid their respects to PC Nicola Hughes who was shot while on duty.
