Readings at today's funeral service
Police officers will pay tribute to the life and service of PC Nicola Hughes today during her funeral in Manchester Cathedral at 1pm.
A mixture of poems, Bible readings and personal reflections will be read aloud to the congregation:
- Death is nothing at all will be read by Sergeant Stephen Lovatt
- Do not let your hearts be troubled will be read by Inspector Jane Brown
- Feel No Guilt in Laughter will be read by Sergeant Gordon Swan
