Turkey strikes back against Syria after mortar attack
The Turkish military fired artillery at targets in Syria today in response to a mortar bomb fired from Syrian territory that hit the Turkish border town of Akcakale, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's office said in a statement.

Targets were struck through artillery fire against places in Syria identified by radar.
