Toyota recall is largest since 1996

Toyota said it will pull back 7.43 million cars worldwide in the biggest single recall since 1996 when Ford called back 8 million vehicles to replace defective ignition switches that could have caused engine fires.


Toyota recalls 7.4m cars

Toyota is voluntarily recalling 7.43 million cars across the world because of a potential fire risk with the power window switches. It affects vehicles sold between 2005 and 2010, including the Camry, Corolla, Yaris and RAV4 SUV models.
