A TV director has claimed that he blew the whistle on Jimmy Savile having sex with a young girl at the BBC but was ignored.
David Nicolson, 67, told The Sun he caught Savile in his Jim’ll Fix It dressing room with a girl aged “16, maybe 15”.
I was revolted by his behaviour. They just shrugged it off, saying, ‘Yeah, yeah — that’s the way it goes’.
Everyone knew what was going on. That includes senior BBC people — chiefs at the highest levels".
Jimmy Savile was questioned as a suspect by police investigating the Yorkshire Ripper, according to a retired police officer.
Jimmy Savile's nephew has spoken of the emotional turmoil his family is going through in the wake of the sex abuse allegations.
A colleague of Jimmy Savile allegedly raped a woman on BBC premises in 1970, ITV News has been told.
