Turkish official confirms banning of Syrian aircraft

A Turkish Foreign Ministry official confirmed the banning of all Syrian aircraft from its air space, after Turkey intercepted a Syrian airliner, carrying what it said were Russian-made munitions for the Syrian army.

Yes, civilian aircraft (have been banned). Military aircraft were de facto banned way before.
