Tory MP John Baron said he welcomed the Government's proposals to opt-out of more than 130 European Police and Criminal Justice measures. Mr Baron said it would be better to go further and rule out any proposed 'opt-ins' in the future:
I very much welcome this opt-out but given that any opt-in in the future would give the European Court of Justice UK jurisdiction for the very first time, would it not be better to rule out any opt-ins in the future?
