An Armenian plane en route to Syria was forced to land in the eastern Turkish city of Erzurum this morning by Turkish authorities.
Officials from the Turkish prime minister's office said the plane was carrying humanitarian aid and was on its way to Aleppo. A Foreign Ministry official said it would be allowed to continue its journey if nothing else was found on board.
