Turkish authorities are searching an Armenian plane bound for the Syrian city of Aleppo, according to the foreign ministry.
The Turkish Foreign Minister said the plane could fly over Turkish airspace only on condition it can search its cargo for possible military equipment.
Turkey and Syria barred each other from using their airspace over the weekend.
