Jay-Z has urged people to use their right to vote in the latest advert released by Barack Obama's presidential campaign.
Jay-Z says in the video, "When the president got into office initially, what he represented to a nation of kids was hope. You know, the hope of people all across the country, who would look and see themselves, and the possibilities".
During the ad the star - a friend of the President - says he believes the US people can now see the "power of our vote" thanks to Mr Obama.
The presidential candidates were at a charity dinner in Manhatten, a light hearted event where they poke fun at themselves and each other.
You can tell a lot about this campaign from where the candidates travel. That's because where they go is where they need votes.
Ohio is the state that both candidates want to win and the the rock stars of the Democratic Party are in town in a bid to help secure it.
