Berlusconi denies pressuring police
The former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has denied that he pressured police officers into releasing a prostitute from prison.
The 76-year-old said he didn't tell police that a nightclub dancer in their custody was the niece of the former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, in May 2010.
He accused the court in Milan of mounting in a "politically driven" campaign against him.
