Police searching for a missing vet have cordoned off a burned-out car found close to her home. Catherine Gowing, 37, has been missing since she failed to arrive at work, a Veterinary Practice in Mold, North Wales, on Monday.
North Wales Police said: "they are carrying out forensic examinations on a five-door Renault Clio which matched the description of Ms Gowing's vehicle and had been found torched."
A 46-year-old man from Gwynedd remains in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of her murder on Tuesday.
