Assad accepts Eid ceasefire
President Bashar al-Assad has accepted an Eid ceasefire, the UN Arab League mediator for the Syrian conflict, Lakhdar Brahimi, told the UN Security Council.
A statement is expected to be issued tomorrow, according to Reuters.
