A suspect is in custody after four people were shot during a Halloween party at the University of Southern California (USC).
The university was put on lockdown after the shooting, which occurred around 11.30pm last night at the University Park campus, the USC said.
Law enforcement forces reportedly told the Los Angeles Times that the gunman opened fire on one person outside the party, but three bystanders were also hit.
The person intentionally shot is listed as being in critical condition, while the other three people have non-life threatening injuries, according to the report.
The USC said no students or staff were injured in the shooting.
