One of the students has asked David Cameron why he supported an EU resolution that criticised the UAE for its human rights record.
The student asked why Britain is "putting pressure" on the UAE despite proclaiming that the countries share a strong relationship.
Mr Cameron commented that he was pleased to see that "more than three quarters" of the students in the room were women.
He also said that "nothing is off limits in the relationship we have" and that human rights would be part of their discussions.
