Burma earthquake felt in Thailand
An official from the Meteorological Department in Burma's capital, Naypyitaw has said an earthquake that struck at 7.42am local time measured at a magnitude of 6.8.
The US Geological Survey reported the quake's magnitude as 6.6 with a depth of just six miles. The quake was felt in Bangkok, the capital of neighbouring Thailand.
