Middle East Peace Envoy Tony Blair has told ITV News a stepping up in Israeli retaliation to rockets fired from Gaza could include the use of ground forces.
If this situation doesn't de-escalate, but rather it escalates - so in other words you get increased rocket fire, and there have been 250 odd rockets coming from Gaza into Israel in the last couple of days - if you continue with that and you have a situation where the Israeli retaliation steps up, then you will get a situation which is even more serious and could eventually lead to the use of ground forces there.
So the important thing right now is that we all use ... what persuasion and influence we have to calm the situation, get it de-escalated.
