PCC record-low turnout inquiry

A post-mortem was under way today into the first elections for police commissioners in England and Wales after the poll was marred by a record-low turnout. A detailed inquiry has been ordered by the Electoral Commission.

Prime minister 'needs to make statement' on PCC election turnout

Jonathan Reyonds, the Labour and co-op MP for Stalybridge and Hyde has tweeted saying that the prime minister and home secretary will need to make statements on the PCC election turnout.
