Britain must take 'hard headed' approach to EU, says Miliband
Britain must take a "hard headed" approach to problems facing the EU, thinks Labour leader Ed Miliband.
Speaking to the Sunday Telegraph, Miliband said that budget reform is needed as well as an overhaul of immigration rules and austerity measures.
– Ed Miliband MP, Labour leaderToo often people have assumed that we have got to make the rise of euroscepticism about the mythology of bendy bananas and bans on chocolate, not not the fact that the European budget looks like it’s suited to the 1950s and not the 21st century.
What I would say is - never shrink from being open about the problems of the European Union.
