Former News of the World Editor Andy Coulson has been charged after answering bail at a south London police station today.
Mr Coulson was charged with two counts of conspiring with Clive Goodman - a journalist - and with a person or persons unknown to commit misconduct in public office.
"He has been bailed to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on 29 November 2012", police said.
