Rebekah Brooks is charged with making illegal payments
Former News International chief executive Rebekah Brooks has answered bail at a south London police station and has been charged with making illegal payments to public officials. She will appear before Westminster Magistrates on November 29.
The charge follows advice from the CPS earlier today.
