Egypt judges' Mursi boycott

Egypt's opposition alliance called for protests to take place throughout country against what it called President Mursi's "illegitimate draft constitution". The country's judges will boycott the Dec.15 referendum and have refused to oversee the vote.

Egypt's highest judicial authority says that President Mohammed Mursi's decree is an "unprecedented attack" on judicial independence according to Reuters.

Opposition groups have announced that their supporters will return to Tahrir Square on Tuesday to further protest against the new powers President Mursi has granted himself.
