Egypt judges' Mursi boycott

Egypt's opposition alliance called for protests to take place throughout country against what it called President Mursi's "illegitimate draft constitution". The country's judges will boycott the Dec.15 referendum and have refused to oversee the vote.

Egypt's Constitutional Court suspends work due to protests

Egypt's Supreme Constitutional Court postponed its work indefinitely after a protest by Islamists sympathetic to President Mohamed Mursi outside its headquarters.

"(The judges) announce the suspension of the court sessions until the time when they can continue their message and rulings in cases without any psychological and material pressures," the court said in a statement.
