Police: Cordon to remain in place at plane crash site
– Suffolk constabulary statementA cordon will remain in place this evening ... around the scene of a light aircraft crash in the village of Aldham near Hadleigh.
The light aircraft came down into an open area, hitting a tree before becoming submerged in a pond.
One casualty was discovered deceased at the scene.
Road closures also remain in place this evening.
An investigation into the crash will be carried out by the Air Accident Investigation Branch supported by Suffolk Police.
