A mother who disappeared with her young son to stop him being treated for cancer says it was an act of desperation because she felt she was on a "conveyor belt". 37-year-old Sally Roberts ran away with 7-year-old Neon because she was worried that radiotherapy may be damaging.
She told Daybreak she was not totally opposed to giving her son the treatment, but wanted more evidence it was really necessary.
