Russia offers Depardieu a passport after French tax row

From @KremlinRussia_E on Twitter:Vladimir Putin has threatened a diplomatic row with France after offering actor Gerard Depardieu a Russian passport.
He has bought a house in Belgium, close to the French border in an apparent attempt to avoid France's new top rate of tax - a move labelled "pathetic" by the French prime minister.
