Sisters killed in crash named

Two young girls who died after a car crashed into a roadside drainage ditch were named by police as Tamzin Portor, aged 10, and her seven-year-old sister Jessica.

All five occupants of car taken to hospital

The car crash that has resulted in the deaths of two girls happened on the A47 near Wisbech on the border between Norfolk and Cambridgeshire, according to police.

All five occupants of the black Ford Focus were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn, where the girls died from their injuries.

The other three occupants of the car remain in hospital, although police said their injuries are not believed to be serious.
