Atiya's mother has thanked the authorities in Pakistan after they reunited her with her daughter.
Gemma Wilkinson said that she understood that "it was Atiya's Uncle who flew out to collect her. I believe the house (where Atiya was found) was put under house arrest, but that is all that I know."
"My belief was never to give in, its just been a very long time and everything that has been given and every option that has been explored. We have tried so many different ways to get information on Atiya's location," she said.
"We are going to take every day as it comes. She will settle. She is going to find things strange but she is loved and we will take it day by day with the support that we can get from everybody."
The mother of a six-year-old girl who was kidnapped by her father and taken to Pakistan three years ago said she was "overwhelmed".
Gemma Wilkinson exclusively speaks to ITV News as she prepares to see her daughter for the first time, three years after she was abducted.
