2012 will end on 'a wet and windy note'
We're going to be ending the year on a wet and windy note. But going into 2013 it's a much quieter picture, drier and also a little bit milder as well. Down across the south west of England expect heavy rain overnight and there are weather warnings out towards many western fringes of the UK.
That rain will not reach the south east and the east till New Year's Eve.
