Huge fireworks display for Dubai New Year celebrations
The Burj Khalifa Tower became the centre of a huge fireworks show to welcome 2013 as Dubai celebrated the New Year.
The city was swathed in smoke after the display which went on for more than five minutes with pyrotechnics racing up and down the tower.
