Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has suffered more complications following complex cancer surgery in Cuba and remains in a "delicate" condition, the vice-president said.
Nicolas Maduro said in a televised statement broadcast after visiting the leader in hospital:
"President Chavez's state of health continues to be delicate, with complications that are being attended to in a process that is not without risks."
The country says it is making the move to shift its national focus and improve its economy.
A stage adaptation the Strictly Ballroom, the film credited with reviving ballroom dancing, has opened in the West End.
