Man critically ill after being hit by M&S trolley

A 60-year-old man, who was struck by a trolley during an alleged altercation at a Marks and Spencer store, is critically ill in hospital.

The man suffered a broken hip and wrist following the incident at The Glades shopping centre in Bromley, south east London, on December 22.

Officers were informed on Boxing Day that he had suffered further health complications and he remains in a critical condition.

A 30-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and bailed to return to a south London police station on January 29.
