Like-for-like Christmas sales at John Lewis up 13%
Total Christmas like-for-like sales were up 13% at John Lewis with total sales at £684.8m according to its trading statement for the five weeks to 29 December.
Compared with two years ago, total sales were 25.5 per cent up while like-for-like sales grew by 20.1 per cent.
Online sales for the five weeks were 44.3 per cent up on last year with Johnlewis.com now accounting for a quarter of the retailer's business.
